1.余謹直誓，醫藥諸聖及上下神祇實鑒證之，余必就余之能力與判斷，履行誓約。
2.余當尊業師如父母；與之同甘苦通有無，視其家屬如昆季。
3.倘彼等願學醫，余當傳之以業而不取酬。
4.對于吾子，與吾師之子及凡宣此誓之生徒，余當盡心訓導之，對于未嘗宣誓之人，余將弗教。
5.余必依吾能力與判斷，以治病人，永不存損害妄為之念，人有求毒藥者，余絕不予之，亦決不自提期議。
6.余永不施術墮胎。
7.余必保持行為與學術之聖潔。
8.余將不施刀割，即使對于真患胱石者亦然，余只讓當地之匠人為之。
9.凡入人家，皆為治病，余決不作任何謬妄損害之企圖，尤不冒瀆人身，不論其為自由男女或奴隸。
10.醫學處世，凡所見聞有不應宣洩者，余當永守秘密。
11.余信守不渝，神其許我聲名永著，事業常昌；如背誓言，願得其反。

| I swear by Apollo Physician by Asclepius, by Health, by Panacea, and by all the gods and goddesses, making them my witnesses, that I will carry out, according to my ability and judgment, this oath and this indenture. |

| To hold my teacher in this art equal to my own parents; to make him partner in my livelihood; when he is in need of money to share mine with him; to consider his family as my own brothers, and to teach them this art, if they want learn it, without fee or indenture. |

| To impart precept, oral instruction, and all other instruction to my own son, the sons of my teacher, and to indentures pupils who have taken the physician's oath, but to nobody else. |

| I will use treatment to help the sick according to my ability and judgment, but never with a view to injury and wrongdoing. Neither will I administer a poison to anybody when asked to do so, nor will I suggest such a course. |

| Similarly, I will not give to a woman a pessary to cause abortion. But I will keep pure and holy both my life and my art. |

| I will not use the knife, not even, verily, on sufferers from stone, but I will give place to such as are craftsmen therein, Into whatsoever houses I enter, I will enter to help the sick, and I will abstain from all intentional wrongdoing and harm, especially from abusing the bodies of man or woman, bond or free. |

| And whatsoever I shall see or hear in the course of my profession, as well as outside my profession in my intercourse with men, if it be what should not be published abroad, I will never divulge, holding such things to be holy secrets. |

| Now, if I carry out this oath, and break it not, may I gain forever reputation among all men for my life and for my art; but if I transgress it and forswear myself, may the opposite befall me. |
